Finder Brazil reinforces its commitment to excellence in vocational education by supporting the world's largest skills competition, the WorldSkills International Competition.
The world’s largest vocational education competition sees Finder Brazil as an official sponsor of an event that promotes skills development, enhances technical education, and reveals talent that can transform the future: WorldSkills. With its 27-year relationship with SENAI, Finder Brazil’s sponsorship of WorldSkills further consolidates the link with this institution, which works assiduously to bring quality education to every corner of Brazil.
What is WorldSkills?
WorldSkills is the largest global vocational training competition. It takes place every two years, and brings together qualified young people from all over the world to compete in a variety of technical and professional fields. The aim of the competition is to promote professional excellence and talent, foster the exchange of knowledge and experience among young people from different countries, and raise the profile of technical professions.
WorldSkills brings together young people who have already demonstrated knowledge and skills within their areas of study through national and regional competitions. The Brazilian WorldSkills competition stage establishes which of the competitors will represent Brazil in the international competition. Competitors can compete for medals relating to technical professions in industry and commerce in up to 63 categories, including: electrical installation, electronics, information technology, and construction.
At the beginning of 2025, Professor Luiz Eduardo Leão, SENAI DN’s Head of Education, and Roberto Spada, SENAI São Paulo’s Director of External Relations visited Finder. During this visit, Finder’s participation in WorldSkills Brazil 2025 – Knowledge ‘Olympiad’ was defined.
Category 18 – Electrical Installations for Buildings … sponsored by Finder!
Finder Brazil is proud to be a sponsor of Category 18 – Electrical Installations for Buildings, which requires competitors to have technical knowledge in electrical installation, including reading wiring diagrams, selecting materials, installing equipment, and performing electrical tests and measurements. To ensure that contestants perform to the best of their abilities, Finder develops participants’ theoretical and practical preparation with in-person training sessions held at its headquarters.
Practical knowledge of products in Category 18

To achieve this, we regularly conduct in-person training sessions at our headquarters with participating SENAI teams from various Brazilian states, further enhancing the value of each competitor and instructor.

He is currently a professor at SENAI and an adjudicator at WorldSkills Brazil 2025, but his story with Finder began in mid-2017. As a student, he learned about the Finder brand through hands-on classes at SENAI. He also participated in previous editions of WorldSkills in the Electrical Systems category where Finder products were featured.

Get to know a competitor who received Finder Brazil’s support in the WorldSkills competition in 2024
In 2023, Matheus Dalaqua Ribeiro was the 1st place winner: Gold in the Electrical Installations Occupation category at the Brazilian stage in Paraíba. The following year he represented Brazil at the WorldSkills – World Event. His dedication deserves to be highlighted, as he studied English diligently for 12 months, thanks to the course provided by Finder Brazil. According to Matheus, this course gave him even more confidence to participate at the world stage of the WorldSkills competition.
