Finder was founded in 1954 by Piero Giordanino, the pioneer of the modern step relay.

The beginnings

During the second half of the 1960s, Finder launched the 60 Series, its first Series of relays for industrial applications, to complement its relays for residential and commercial applications.

1981 was the year in which Finder first miniature PCB relay – the 40 Series – was produced.

The range of industrial timers was launched.

During the mid-1990s production of the new 94 and 95 Series sockets began; a range of sockets for faster, more secure wiring.

2001 saw the launch of the 34 Series ultra-slim PCB relay as well as the 27 Series step relays with auxiliary module for illuminated push buttons.

In 2005 Finder launched its 15 Series dimmers and its first 18 Series movement detectors.

In 2010 the MasterINTERFACE relay interface modules were launched; simple and versatile ultra-slim devices.

In 2012 Finder produced a relay specifically for the solar power sector: the 67 Series, and in the same year it launched its first Solid State Relays.
