The first quarter of 2026 concludes with a positive outlook, and great success in terms of the public attendance for two of the most influential European trade fairs in our sector: KEY – The Energy Transition Expo in Rimini (Italy) and Light + Building in Frankfurt (Germany). These events served not only as exhibition showcases, but as strategic hubs for addressing the challenges of the Green Deal, and digital innovation applied to living spaces.
In Rimini, the fourth edition of KEY – The Energy Transition Expo recorded significant figures, confirming its role as the primary event for the energy transition supply chain in Italy and the Mediterranean. Within this context, Finder focused its offering on solutions dedicated to resource monitoring and energy efficiency.
The main focus of the Finder stand was OPTA, the PLR (Programmable Logic Relay) which, among its many applications, enables smart energy management across various environments. Thanks to its seamless integration with 7M Series energy meters, and with the new 6M Series network analyzers, the system allows for precise data collection on energy consumption, and the automation of electrical loads with a focus on savings and sustainability. In an era when data analysis is fundamental to reducing waste and energy consumption, OPTA demonstrates how technology can make complex processes simple and accessible in industrial, and residential and commercial contexts.
In Germany the focus has shifted towards architecture and technology applied to buildings. Light + Building reaffirmed its position as the world’s leading trade fair for the electrical lighting and building automation sector, exceeding all expectations in terms of attendance and international interest.
At this prestigious event, visitors had the opportunity of experiencing the latest innovations in the management of lighting, shutters, and home automation scenarios – elements that have become increasingly automated, secure, and oriented towards end-user well-being and comfort living.
