Christmas 2021: Finder extends its support to EMERGENCY

Once again, as part of our Christmas celebrations, Finder would like to give a voice to those who have an extraordinary tale of generosity to share with us.

FINDER AROUND THE WORLD

Founded in Italy in 1994 by Dr Gino Strada, EMERGENCY is an independent non-profit NGO that provides free, high-quality medical care to victims of war and sufferers of poverty all over the world.
EMERGENCY also promotes a culture of peace, solidarity and respect for human rights.

Finder has joined a project which aims to protect Maternal and Child Health, and which is crucial to the wellbeing and development of every community.

EMERGENCY: A global humanitarian lifeline

Founded in Milan in 1994, EMERGENCY is an NGO whose aim is to bring aid to the victims of war and poverty. It has operated in 19 countries, building hospitals and medical centres, and providing help to the most needy. In recent years, its commitment to internationalization has seen it expand its operations in an increasing number of countries.

Anabah Maternity Center

2003 saw the establishment of EMERGENCY’s so-called ‘silent revolution’ – combining the EMERGENCY Maternity Center and the empowerment of women.

In a place that has a mortality rate 99 times higher than that of Italy, the Anabah Maternity Center is the only hospital in the area dedicated to Maternal and Child Health. Since its foundation, the centre has carried out over 440,000 examinations – and over 65,000 children have been born within its walls. In addition, health centres and first aid centres have been established in the Panshir Valley in order to offer wider monitoring, assessment of care requirements and follow-up examinations.

Finder’s commitment to a Christmas of solidarity

The project, featured in this year’s corporate Christmas greeting – distributed to customers, suppliers and stakeholders – endeavours to provide awareness; and brings a message of hope.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year!
