How can users exercise their rights regarding data generated by their connected products?
You may exercise full control over the data generated by the use of your connected products and related services. Primarily, you can exercise the rights provided for under Articles 4 and 5 of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act) by submitting a request to Finder S.p.A. with a sole shareholder, without requiring any specific formalities. Below is a form you can use to exercise these rights of access and sharing.
Depending on your needs, your request may pertain to: direct access to raw or pre-processed consumption data; specific operational metrics of the device; categories of data associated with a particular service; the sharing of such data with a third party explicitly designated by you.
Finder S.p.A. with a sole shareholder will provide an appropriate response, ensuring easy, secure, and free access for the user, specifically:
- Without undue delay and, where technically possible and applicable, in a continuous and real-time manner, ensuring the same quality of data available to the company;
- In the exceptional event that sharing may compromise product security requirements or trade secrets, Finder S.p.A. will promptly inform you of the organizational measures adopted or the necessary limitations applied to the request.
