Finder products for e-mobility
The Green mobility revolution is powering ahead, taking us far beyond electric vehicles made by large automobile corporations. It now extends to national and local infrastructure and institutions, and has become part of our collective and individual consciousness. Finder has a range of products dedicated to the electric mobility sector, with approvals, sizes, and electrical characteristics specific to this ever-growing sector.
7E Series – Energy meters
The 7E Series energy meters are available in 40 A maximum single phase and 80 A maximum 3-phase versions. They have the option of remote energy monitoring showing how much energy has been used, and in the case of EV charging stations and columns, how much more energy the battery requires to be fully charged.
7P Series – Surge protection devices
Finder Type 1 + 2 surge arresters provide protection against overvoltages caused by direct discharges, induced and operating overvoltages. Available with the Finder secure retention feature.
22 Series – Modular contactors
Finder’s 22 Series range of 2 or 4 pole modular contactors are rated 25 A, 32 A, 40 A or 63 A. It can operate at up to 70°C even in ‘mirror contact’ configuration for use in connecting/disconnecting the vehicle to the charging point either during the charging process or after the battery has been fully charged.
78 Series –Switch mode power supplies
Finder’s switch mode power supplies, with a rated output current of up to 10 A are compact and can be used to power the electronics installed in charging points, including data transmission boards, displays and other EV control systems.
Finder commitment
Finder has been engaged with environmental issues for many years. The company has fully adhered to and implemented all requirements laid down in the ISO 14001 environmental management standard. For a number years the company has geared its policies to the selection and purchase of vehicles with low CO2 emission levels.
As of March 2020 almost 12% of the company’s entire fleet of vehicles was either all electric or hybrid, and the company continues its ongoing policy of taking increasingly green measures regarding e-mobility.
