78 Series – Switch Mode Power Supplies
When designing a new system one of the main electronic components to consider is the power supply. Size, power, output and phase – the basics in choosing a solution – and selection are important.
With that in mind, Finder announces a significant expansion of their 78 Series power supply lineup.
Released to stand alongside our existing power supplies, they have the same rugged metal case design and low standby power consumption. Additional features are high efficiency, double stage active PFC, and peak current ranges at 30%.
The new products cover single, dual and three phase applications.

Single Phase 75 W – 120 W – 240 W – 480 W

• aux feedback contacts

Three Phase 240 W – 480 W – 960 W
• 24 – 28 V DC output
• dual phase possible
• short circuit protection with hiccup auto-recovery
• efficiency up to 92%
• compliant with EN 61010-1, UL 61010

• directly parallelable due to internal clock (78.Z3)

Along with the above, Finder expanded the lower range with new 12 W and 25 W versions. Two different options, one for standard applications as well as one specifically designed for Finder’s OPTA PLR series.
