Finder was founded in 1954 by Piero Giordanino, who patented the first step relay in 1949. Today Finder produces over 14,500 different types of electromechanical and electronic devices for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, all of them manufactured in our European facilities in Italy, France and Spain. Over the years the company has continued to expand and is now truly global. Finder is proud to be recognized as the relay manufacturer with the highest number of quality approvals.
Finder, an Italian brand with a presence all over the world, concentrates its production and logistics facilities in Italy, France, Spain and Germany. Thanks to its international outlook, the company delivers solutions for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors internationally through a network of sales subsidiaries in 28 countries, as well as having more than 80 distribution partnerships.
It was 1949 when Piero Giordanino patented the first version of the modern step relay. In 1954 he founded Finder, which today manufactures over 14,500 different products.
The company has its headquarters in Almese, in the heart of the Susa Valley in Piedmont, where it currently carries out all of its management operations and more than 70% of its manufacturing. This extensive facility is constantly evolving, so that it can adapt and anticipate the production requirements of the international markets, while fully respecting the environment and always staying true to its traditions.
Over the years, Finder has become synonymous with relays due to the very high quality of its production, as well as the breadth and highly-specialised nature of its range. This is evidenced by its high number of quality approvals, which testify both to the quality and the high level of reliability of its products.
Always ensuring that we adhere to both national and EU environmental regulations, Finder guarantees that all of its products comply with legal requirements. Today the company’s policy of reducing energy consumption means that more than 50% of the electricity we use comes from renewable sources. This commitment is evidenced by our compliance with UNI EN ISO 14001, which demonstrates that we always do our utmost to protect the environment.
