New voltage control and current control relays
The Finder 70 Series monitoring and control relay range has been extended with a new voltage control and new current control relay.
Monitoring relays such as these have the task of monitoring and signalling supply failures that could cause further machinery or system failure.
By informing the operator of abnormal conditions requiring immediate corrective action, damage to systems, machinery and equipment can be avoided or the possibility of machine downtime much reduced.
Type 70.61 – phase failure and phase sequence control relay
This new product was specifically designed for the control of three-phase systems and motors, with particular reference to the control of compressors and pump control panels.
Featuring positive safety logic (the relay output contact opens in case of error detection) and Finder’s innovative European patent for its error detection principle, the 70.61 functions even under the condition of a regenerated phase.
Additional to the phase failure and phase sequence functions other prime characterisitics include a single 6 A rated changeover output contact, suitability for 35mm rail mounting and a compact width of 17.5mm. Also available, as the 70.61-P000 version, it is equiped with push-in terminals.
Type 70.51 – single phases current monitoring relay
The Type 70.51 current control relay will monitor a current value in real time and will allow you to set, and it will signal, various critical “out of limits” conditions that might require an immediate response. Essential where safety, damage to equipment or down-time might result.
This device, with 1 x 10 A rated changeover output contact, has a wide supply voltage range of 24… 240 V AC/DC and six current control levels 0.1, 1, 2, 5, 10 and 16 A.
There are also 6 selectable functions, which include an under-current function, an over-current function and a window mode (over-current + under-current), either with or without trip memory feature.
