RoHS (Rev. 10)
The European Directive 2002/95/CE of 27th March 2003 (commonly known as the ‘Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive’, or ‘RoHS’), which took effect on 1st July 2006, limits the use of substances considered potentially damaging to human health. The European Directive 2011/65/EU of 8th June 2011 (commonly known as the ’Recast RoHS Directive’ or ‘RoHS II’) provides for an update to and an extension of these restrictions.
WEEE (Rev. 4)
The European Directive 2012/19/EU (‘Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive’ or ‘WEEE’) regulates the collection, recovery and recycling of such equipment.
REACH (Rev. 24)
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is an EU regulation concerning chemicals and their safe use.
Conflict Minerals (Rev. 6)
Finder has adopted, with the direct involvement of its suppliers, a traceability system to demonstrate the exclusion – within its manufacturing processes –- of raw materials originating in a “conflict mine” from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.
