Relay and timer manufacturer Finder became the proud sponsor of no less than two English world darts champions at the weekend’s Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship. Finder was a shirt sponsor of both the Women’s Champion “Golden Girl” Trina Gulliver and the Men’s Champion Martin “Wolfie” Adams.
With Trina and Martin already established as sports celebrities in the Netherlands as well as at home, the sponsorship had been arranged through Finder’s Dutch subsidiary, who the pair have previously supported with exhibition matches at major trade fairs in the country.
Jonathan Stanford, Managing Director of Finder’s UK subsidiary said, “I take my hat off to my Dutch colleagues who are clearly skilled at picking a winner! It’s so rare for an Electrical equipment company to get such national and international TV exposure and to get the double in this way is an incredibly good result.”
